You may be surprised, but in North Carolina there are actually no requirements at all to become a roofer, so technically anyone with a swinging hammer and $50 to buy a used nail gun can install your new roof. This makes holding a Master Elite™ Certification one of the few ways to determine if your chosen roofing contractor is actually qualified to perform work on your roof.
